Would it be possible to do a blade style buffer tube adapter? I've seen some online, basically think it cuts the thickness down to just the indexing rail on the bottom. Would keep it really thin.
Yeah its possible. Just not something I'm interested in making. Would make a good first project for a beginner though.

For sure, just have fun with it. Plenty of youtube tutorials. I started a year ago with zero CAD skill or knowledge and now im able to whip up accessories and customize my builds pretty easy. It's a good skill to have. Got my foot in the door for a tech job because of it.
