Glock spring on the LEFT Amazon Spring on the RIGHT

[–] Bunk 1 points 1 hour ago

I tried some springs I was linked to on Amazon (forgot from where) and buyers mentioned they worked on Pews, so I bought them. Well they fit in ok, and I got the slide on ok, but holy shit it was a bear to get the slide off! These springs had a few too many coils and were slightly thicker wire than OEM springs, so they wouldn’t compress enough. I bought some Glock springs and they work MUCH better! I’ll pull some out and take a pic for you.

I’m no expert as I’ve annealed nylon less than half dozen times, but i think the super fine grains of the flour salt powder pack more densely and provide greater resistance to movement than regular table salt. I bought it online super cheaply.

I remove supports after removing it from the printer. I anneal the part in my kitchen oven, with it packed in flour salt in an oven safe baking dish. The flour salt adds a ton of stability to the part during the process and buffers the temp on both the heating up and cooling down phases.

Unfortunately, there isn’t one yet.

It doesn’t take dd43 rails, but I think you should really take a look at PY2A’s 43X frame (s well as his others). They are very close to OWM with some minor tweaks, but very sturdy imo. I do like his rails better also.

Well that’s def odd because I ordered on 31-OCT, the day the part was restocked and got it a week later. If you ordered before me and the part was shown as in-stock, that’s a different story. I don’t think it will let you order if the part is shown out of stock.

I’m really loving Polymaker PA612-CF right now. Prints beautifully after a proper drying.

I’m a couple days away from a live fire test on my MP22K, so I’ll chime in when I do. Mine will hand cycle and extract/eject ok at the moment, but it def took some work to get the bolt and ejector to cycle smoothly together without hang ups due to this laminated design. The issue I’m having right now is the recoil spring - I’m already shorter than the specified length and yet I can get the cocking handle into the locked open position. I’m just short a couple mm. I’m just going to keep shortening it until it will, but that will of course reduce bolt closing force. I’m not big on the design not having a rebound stop other than the spring itself. Seems like it will pound itself to destruction over time. Shrug. We’ll see.

I ordered the stainless G19 gen3 rails and am very happy with them. I put them in a G45 gen3 frame file I printed from his downloads and they fit like a glove. Just waiting for my slide now.

I’ve ordered a couple times from him and although not Amazon Prime delivery times I got them in a week or so. Pretty sure it’s just a guy running a side gig.
