The creep tendency of PLA+ often leads to problems with magazines. Sten are particularly problematic since spacing of the feed lips when new leaves no margin. The only long term reliable Sten mags I've printed were PPA-CF and PET-CF. I suspect Siraya's new PET-GF would also work well.

i have some ppa-cf and pet-cf to test with.. just need to dry them for 24hrs... :-) maybe ill pick up some pet-gf...
yeah.. i picked up a MPA polymer magazine... just need to figure out which paddle to use. my experiment failed this afternoon.. the thing functions as long as it can pick up a round from the magazine. so for now its a mac-11 single shooter.. determined to get this to work though.
I used those magazines in another project, the printed ones failed before two full mags. The ones with metal feed lips lasted quite a while, even left loaded in climate controlled area. They only met their demise when I forgot they were in the hot car.
yeah... i actually had cycling success when at first with the fully printed mag. then it started to not hold onto rounds.. like in your pic.. the round would just end up in weird places in the upper.
i'd try the RR metal inserts.
yeah.. thats what im seriously considering on doing. although inserts wont be available for two weeks.. sigh.. may just print up a glock based lowed..
My printed mags have lasted 500rds
ill reprint mine as well with a different filament. in the meantime ive picked up a mpa mag from the LGS.
reprint seems to hold up better.. functional tests with snap caps looks hopeful. i believe there is some shrinkage with bambu's pla tough+. so i switched to polylite pla+ heading to range(family farm) in a bit.. so will report back ..
will the MPA '9MM Polymer Magazine' also work out of the box in the pwc 9 ?
