Just thinking about this. Would it be possible? Using two collars, allowing the barrel to move back 3-4mm and tilt back 2-3°. I know this is in TinkerCAD, but I'm just messing with the idea.
Would this work? The hardest part would be getting it to return to firing position, right?
Its interesting and I don’t see why it wouldn’t be mechanically possible but usually in tilting barrel designs, my understanding is the barrel itself is the delay component, with interface surfaces that are therefore under great stress during the firing cycle. Something to think about as you design this.
