I second the nomination for ftn4, there is no other project in existence with as many well tested variants. It's a proven design.

I can't wait to print this, I've been wanting to buy a PDW style stonk but I really don't like how the HBPDW uses a tiny tube. This will be a game changer.

PS: your scs kabuto remix was AWESOME

What does this use, a magpul glock drum?

If the reliability doesn't matter, 100% do a 22lr just to learn how to print gats. Galileo R2 or Decimator are both great options that borrow a 10/22 bolt.

If you want some footage I'm down to share some churned butter footage. Anything to help the cause. I think this clip is around ten rounds, I'd have to slow it down to count manually.

It's insane how it drew all those audio graphs, that thing has some extreme potential. I just noticed the 33rounder and the 37 round assertion xD

Honestly? If in the US, get a 10/22 and print one of the MANY chassis for that bolt/barrel. After that, do a glock and learn why not to like browning tilting actions. After that, do a fuckin AR lower and give up on any other platform. AR is life.

edit: I saw you want a handgun, I guess glock but listen, sidearms are just backup. You're gonna get much more reliability from a proper centerfire rifle or carbine.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say this bot is full of shit, the mag looks like your typical 33rd glock mag, and it doesn't sound like it went through the entire thing. I can't guess a rate of fire, while it was extremely quick we need more samples to guess better. I don't think this went through more than 1/4 of the mag though.

edit: the flash out of the dust cover looks like you may have had an OOB.

You're gonna love it. I'm gearing up to print it in one piece, no seam like a Monopoly.

That's a great question, the bipoly's creator determined that including a hole for a buffer detent would lower strength so there is none, you hold it back while you install the upper.

Like I said, it makes no sacrifices on strength. My pla version is well over a year old with thousands of rounds through it and I'm not the only person with these results. I think he was on a good path with this one.

The bipoly makes no sacrifices on strength, that fixed stock is king as the buffer tower is traditionally a weak point. If you want to run a buffer tube and a collapsible stock, something like the Defiance or SL-15 are more appropriate.

That said, don't sleep on the bipoly. It's 100% my favorite lower and worth building one for yourself.
