After several tries of posting and editing

Figured I’d hop on the trend of showing off VZ61’s. Build list is as follows…

VZ61 parts kit with American made threaded barrel - RTI Imports -SSSzar V3 lower - The Gatalog
SS and trigger - Deez Nutz Tactical
FTN 4 9mm can (just need to epoxy) -Plaboi
Airsoft folding “brace” - Chhyynnaaaa
VZ61 AR style grip (painted) - same folder as lower
front pic rail mount and mag extension - Booligan custom gunworks
Front VFG - Printables
Holosun HS403B - PSA

The mag ext is from Booligan? Is it +5 and uses regular stock spring correct? I saw it before, I been meaning to print it

it’s +5 and I used the regular mag spring. I also only do +4 to keep it from binding up against the bottom of the bolt bc it’s tight with 25

It’s the threaded one from RTI, then I used a KAW valley barrel extension to get past the hand guard.

Lowe is in PA-6 CF and all the accessories are PLA +

I’m amazed you got what you ordered from RTI, they royally fucked my order up. The never issued, great condition VZ kit with threaded barrel arrived just filthy nasty. It was super worn out and they messed up the barrel, sending the wrong one. I had to get my card issuer involved to even get a reply.

Sooo funny story…I got my kit from them and it was decent condition but they sent me the wrong barrel too. I emailed them and they made me a label and I sent it back. Apparently they were changing office buildings so it was delayed an additional week. Then one day it just showed up

I ordered through them and after a month they sent me a refund, said they made a mistake. It was while they were moving too.

That thing is so sweet. I'd love to get a VZ61 build going someday, but I can't justify it with 32 ACP being expensive/hard to find

Just fyi, a .22 upper won't work as is. The cuts on the bottom of the bolt are different, so a different trip bar is needed. Was being worked on by someone else in the beta who has a .22 upper, but there were issues, so it wasn't included in the release.

Damn that’s unfortunate to hear, I thought he got it working, I was hoping for a separate release for the 22. What exactly was the problem that it wouldn’t trip the bolt? It would be great in the long run since the ammo is so much cheaper but the uppers are spendy

If they get it working, The Gatalog zip will be updated. But if that doesn't happen in a month, I'll be closing the beta room. So if someone does get it to work eventually, it may be their own release.

Not entirely sure since I don't own one. They just couldn't get the super safety to reliably work for a full magazine, for whatever reason.
