How is the recoil on the 5.7 MAC uppers? I built a DB9, but hated the 9mm MAC 11 action (way too harsh). I've since converted it to 22LR which I love, but I've been really curious about the 5.7.
It's definitely not .22 soft, but it's not bad at all. Somewhat comparable to a P90/PS90 if you've ever shot one of those. They're both direct blowback. A little snappy just due to the speed and bore height over grip, but not punchy and doesn't hit hard at all.
I really like the 5.7x28 round in general. I wanted to try it out on the cheap so that was why I built the DB. Liked it there so I picked up an M&P 5.7, loved that, then I went down the P90 rabbit hole and loving it there.
